申命记32:8的译文
【和合本】 至高者将地业赐给列邦，将世人分开，就照以色列人的数目，立定万民的疆界。
【和合本修订版】至高者将地业赐给列国，将世人分开，他按照神明的数目，为万民划定疆界。
（注：‘神明’是根据死海古卷；直译‘ 神的众子’；原文（指马索拉希伯来文本）是‘以色列
人’；七十士译本是‘天使’。）
【思高本】当至高者为民族分配产业时，分布人的子孙时，按照天使的数目，为万民划定了疆界；
（注：可看出思高本在这里是参考七十士译本翻译的。）
【现代中文译本】 至高者分配列国的领土，把人类分开；他按照以色列人的数目划定万民的疆界。
【新标准修订本NRSV】 When the Most High apportioned the nations, when he divided
humankind, he fixed the boundaries of the peoples according to the
number of the gods;
【Good News Translation】 The Most High assigned nations their lands; he
determined where peoples should live. He assigned to each nation
a heavenly being,
【KJV】When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
【ESV】When the most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind , he fixed the bounders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God.

比较以上各种译本的这一节译文，之所以有所不同，是由于以下原因：
1，由于根据的原文版本不同：如和合本、现代中文译本、钦定本KJV，NIV等，是根据马索拉希伯来文
本，译为‘以色列民’。
思高本是依据《七十士译本》，译为‘天使’
ESV是依据《死海古卷》，译为‘上帝的儿子’。
2，在希伯来文词里，H0430 elohiym 语义，既可以译为‘上帝，天主，独一真神，God',也可以译为‘神
明，god,诸神，gods',视经文上下文的文脉的意思，而选择正确的词来表达。在英语，俄语，德语圣经
里，表示独一真神上帝的名词，其第一个字母都是大写字母。而在希伯来文圣经和希腊文圣经里相对应的
词的第一个字母，没有大小写的分别；这是翻译的难点之一。
个人的看法:这一节经文的各种译文，其中ESV的译文，翻译的比较好。其他的可作参考，可在附注
中说明。
